The family & their story
Set amongst the farms of Gudha, close to historic Bundi, Amour Casa is a country home surrounded by fields, orchards and the open landscapes of rural Rajasthan.
At its heart are Balwant and Vandana. Their family originally came from Punjab and settled in this region around the time of India’s Independence. Their journey, memories, traditions and food have become part of the story they now share with their guests.
When their daughters are home, they too become part of the experience.
The Stay
Verandahs, gardens and relaxed outdoor spaces give Amour Casa the character of a country home rather than a conventional hotel.Walk beyond the house and you are immediately amongst fields, orchards, livestock and the everyday rhythms of a working farm.

Life on a Farm
Begin the morning walking through the farm, discovering seasonal crops, orchards and livestock. Depending upon the season, join in farm activities or simply enjoy being part of the landscape.
Guided Tour of Bundi Fort and Town
Explore Bundi's extraordinary palaces, stepwells, temples, old neighbourhoods and Taragarh Fort with a local guide.
A cooking session with the hosts
Pick vegetables from the farm before joining Balwant and Vandana in preparing family recipes. Learn about spices and slow cooking, perhaps over an earthen stove, before sharing the meal together.
Other Experiential Activities
On prior information, the hosts can organise folk musiciand to perform for you, organise a safari in the forests near by or a pottery session at the farm stay itself at added costs.
