About Us
A Former residene of the Prime Minister and first cousin of the Maharaja of Bikaner- Maharaj Bhairon Singh ji- Bhairon Vilas has been restored and brought alive by his great grandson Maharaj Harshvarshan Singhj and his family-Harshvardhan is a curator and collector at heart and his desire to preserve the history , heritage and art of Bikaner and Rajasthan reflects in every nook and corner of Bhairon Vilas – whether it is the art deco Bar – or the oh so over the top Cafe Ganesha- the gardens, the lounges, the reception and off course the room have Harshvardhan’s signature style. Here you just do not live in a hotel but you “LIVE WITH HISTORY” in the literal sense.

A vintage Jeep Safari through the country side of Bikaner- visiting the villages of Raisar, katariyasar, the camel research institute while also observing the various wilflife and other interesting snippets of rural life . At Maruj we also undertake the safari with locals and organise dinners and sundowners at our own small campsite in the wilderness.
